DC Comics' New Guardians, Green Lantern Corps and Red Lanterns

With most of DC's relaunch titles a cover to the individual book was given for the people to see what was in store for the characters. Excluding the new Green Lantern #1, the other titles were the only ones left out causing fans to eagerly await the release of those covers. Today, from three different high profile comic websites, the three remaining Lantern books are revealed.
First up is Green Lantern Corps #1. The cover below is by Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy with interior art duties belonging Fernando Pasarin and Scott Hanna. It's good to know that the series is sticking with familiar writing territory, bringing Peter J. Tomasi back to scribe the adventures of the Corps. This image comes exclusively from Comic Book Resources.
Next is Red Lanterns #1 which will feature interior and cover art by Ed Benes and Rob Hunter with writing duties going to Peter Milligan. I was hoping that either the Blue Lanterns or Larfleeze and his "Orange Corps" would be featured in an ongoing but it seems that the rage of the Red Lanterns lends itself much better to a series than any of the others. The cover below comes from Newsarama.
Finally, we get a teasing look at the cover of Green Lantern: New Guardians #1 from Comics Alliance. This one has my curiosity piqued the most of all the Lantern books. The previous team from Green Lantern Corps will be handling this one with Tony Bedard writing and Tyler Kirkham and Batt taking care of the cover and interior art. It looks like we have Kyle Rayner representing the Green Lanterns, Arkillo for Sinestro Corps, Glomulus with the Orange Lanterns, Saint Walker from the Blue Lanterns, Bleeze as the Red Lantern member, Munk shinning compassion for the Inidigo Tribe, and Fatality being the most obvious choice for the Star Sapphire. I am curious to see how Glomulus came to be the chosen one for the Orange Lanterns when Larfleeze created his own corps from the ring. I surely hope Larfleeze hasn't been thrown away as he is one of my favorite parts of the Lantern stories right now.
It was quite an exciting time to be a fan of all the Green Lantern books before and with the shake up coming from DC, I feel that my anticipation has risen to an even higher level with the announcement of these new books. I'm really satisfied with the creative teams on each book and hope the great stories continue with a fresh new beat as the relaunch takes place in September.

make no mistake, the Sony awards do not give any recognltion to quality; they have been created solely for
the purpose of Sony exposure - the awards tend to be given to those shows with most audience pull.
So that the stations can "Sony Award winning blah, blah, blah" - a mere plug for Sony.
For any aesthetic or production values, you may as award a show a dog turd.
