In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is an all-new DC Universe Animated Original Movie that weaves six interlocking stories of the Green Lantern Corps’ rich mythology around preparations for an attack by an ancient enemy. As the battle approaches, Hal Jordan (voiced by Nathan Fillion, Castle) mentors new recruit Arisia (Elisabeth Moss, Mad Men) in the history of the Green Lantern Corps, telling tales of Avra (the first Green Lantern) and several of Hal’s comrades – including Abin Sur, Kilowog, Laira and Mogo. In the end, Arisia must rise to the occasion to help Hal, Sinestro and the entire Green Lantern Corps save the universe from the destructive forces of Krona.

Penned by comic book luminaries Geoff Johns, Dave Gibbons, Peter J. Tomasi, Eddie Berganza, Alan Burnett, Todd Casey and Michael Green & Marc Guggenheim, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights will be distributed June 7 by Warner Home Video as part of the build up to the release of the highly anticipated live action film, Green Lantern, in theatres June 17th.

"Green Lantern" Soundtrack Pushed Back

Credit to our friends over at Blog Of Oa for pointing this out, the release of the Green Lantern Soundtrack has been pushed back from May 24th to June 14th.

The track list has yet to be revealed but the cover art was release thru WaterTower Music, a subsidiary of Warner Bros Music.

The move actually aligns the release of the soundtrack to come out the same week as the film drops. Check out the cover art to the left of the article.

Six Flags Goes Green

I haven't been to any of the Six Flags in years, but I do like me a good theme park. Six Flags Great Adventure & Wild Safari in NJ and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

The two minute and thirty second thrill begins with a pulse-quickening 45 degree vertical drop before rocketing you through five inversions – including a 121-foot-tall loop, a 103-foot dive loop, a 72-foot inclined loop and twisted double corkscrews.
