"Green Lantern" vs "The Green Hornet": Release Date Challenge

I always thought it was a tad askew that both "The Green Hornet" and "Green Lantern" were coming out in 2011. I certainly am not confused about it. I know that my fellow webmasters and all of geekdom is certainly not confused about it. However I wondered about the general public. It wasn't that long ago where a good amount of average Joes assumed that "Batman Begins" was a sequel to the Tim Burton Batman flicks. Not so much.
Apparently The Brothers Warner thought the same according to the LA Times. With their big budget sci-fi slugfest "Green Lantern" going green in June, the studio didn't want a hornet buzzing around in March as Sony originally intended. WB took their case to the Motion Picture Association of America and the MPAA stood by the biggest studio in the world allowing the two sides to come to an agreement on a five month layover between flicks.
I'm not really sure how this moving is going to fare this weekend, but I am going to be that when it is all said and done, "Green Lantern" will beat "The Green Hornet" at the box office.
