Defender of the Universe

2011 has started off with a bang for Green Lantern fans. It seems like each day of the new year has given us something new to look at based around the film. The latest edition is this new children's book inspired by the movie.

Jake Black, that's Jake not Jack thankfully, is the story's writer and revealed a May release date with a link to pre-order on Amazon. It has a $3.99 price tag which isn't bad. My obsession with all things Green Lantern my force me to purchase this one and write a review about ten minutes later.

The cover of the book shows major improvements to the suit. Looks like another instance where earlier images were possibly rushed to create hype for Comic-Con and other media. If more images pop up like this, including absolute finished photos from the actual film, I think people complaining about the cheap look will start to warm up to it.
